• Separate from all that stains our world and dirties our lives - free from all sinful thoughts, destructive emotions, unclean images, impure motives and questionable activities.
• Become holy through the power of Christ and the working of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
• Through pure and clean life, we reveal to our world the reality of holy God in our lives.
• The conditions of your heart will affect your actions, and your actions will reflect your heart.
• In the presence of God's holiness comes an awarenessof our lack of holiness

2. Pure heart

• Pure means to be singular in substance, without any perfections or impurities.
• Is one soley committed to Christ first and foremost.
• The pure in heart are precious gems of great value to God.

3. A contrite heart

• Contrite means to be humble and repentent before God.
• God will bring us to the edge of brokeness through our circumstances.
• Part of a covenant love relationship involves God's helping us to repent when we need to, but still remains an act of our will.

4. Fear of God

• Fear brings a sense of awe and reverence towards God
• Christians display a lack of fear when they

- continuously use God's name in vain,

- deliberately sin, expecting God to forgive them,

- view worship, prayer, tithing, studying God's Word, and committed to the church as options for the Christian

- approach God in worship with a flippant attitude

• Fearing God is part of walking in His ways, loving Him and serving Him with all our hearts as we observe His commands.

5. Faithfulness

• Life long goal
• Persevering to the end
• Remaining true to the Lord and His Word through discouragement and difficulty as well as joy and success.
• Anything short of finishing the race is to be disqualified, and anyone who crosses the finishing line is a winner.
• You may have been unfaithful. You may have stumble in the race and are limping aloing the sidelines. Forgiveness and restoration are available for those who recognize their failures and repentof them.
• A life of faithfulness begins with the first step of obedience and continues one step at a time.
• Measure your faithfulness by applying this principle to your faithfulness to your family, friends and self.

6. Obedience

• Obedience is the submission to the instructions of an authority. Our obedience to Christ's commands is proof to God adn to everyone watching us that Christ indeed is Lord of our lives.
• God wants to see if you have truly heard Him. He wants to see you obey.
• God loves obedience.

7. Seeks and loves God

• God not only demands our complete loyalty, but also deserves it. God desires to be found by those who are seeking Him.
• Seek God with our whole heart in order to find Him, yet it is God causes us to seek Him first.
• God sets in motion His plans and His purpose for you, then you will find in your heart a desire to seek after Him.
• Love is key.
• God's love leaves no room for hatred of anyone. God loves them, too, and we love God and hare the very ones he loves.
• It is easier to love those whom God loves if we allow God to love through us.

8. Servants of God

• God places us in situations according to His purpose and will to amke a difference as His servants.
• God will use our circumstances for our benefit to promote greater dependence on Him. God wants us to see how He works through challenging situations to overpower the evil one and to bring victory to those who love Him.
• Our role is to be obedient to God and faithful as each tests or circumstances is placed before us.
